Liv Boeree wins EPT San Remo

Liv Boeree won the EPT in San Remo yesterday and can take a nice €1,250,000 home. The charismatic British poker player won the heads up against Swedish Jakob Karlsen after 6 days of poker. The young Swede had the chiplead for quite some time, but lost his chiplead and came in second, when he pushed A6 and was called by Boeree's pocket fives, which won. It's Liv Boeree's second big win after the Ladbrokes 2008 European Ladies Championship. The final standings:
